Conference Call Notes
GrowCo expansion ramp: Facility fully planted with throughput in place; remaining improvements will be incremental efficiency gains.
Capacity allocation: More flower allocated to Canada due to easing constraints; unconstrained demand still present.
Vape category performance: PUFFERZ drove significant share gains; Spinach reached #1 in vapes for the first time.
Pre-roll strategy: New Spinach STIX and 2x1g formats launched; pre-rolls identified as next major growth lever.
Israel market dynamics: Consistency of supply and genetics remain key; Peace Naturals continues to lead; Lord Jones premium flower launched.
International expansion: Strong growth in Germany and other markets; CanAdelaar expected to close in summer 2026.
Netherlands regulatory environment: Competition increasing modestly; store changes expected but net positive; no major changes expected from summer review.
U.S. rescheduling: Management views it as a major milestone; monitoring interstate and international implications.
Competitive intensity in Canada: Less deflationary than prior years; scaling improves fixed-cost absorption.
Relationship with Altria: No expected changes; strong continuity and ongoing engagement.

Valuation
CRON is right around tangible book value here. CRON is trading at about 16.7x EV/ttm EBITDA. Looking ahead I have them somewhere around 6-7x EV/2026 EBITDA (my estimates).
Closing Thoughts
I like the setup for CRON moving forward. Most of the liquidity to the cannabis section is short term thinking. I think this creates an opportunity for the LPs like CRON that are generating cash.
CRON has always been a bit more subjective to value given the large cash pile. They are deploying the cash in a productive way which gives me comfort. I appreciate the share buybacks at these prices.
Aside from deploying cash, they have been doing well operationally. The company’s international strategy is beginning to scale, with Israel and Europe contributing meaningfully to growth. Execution on pre-rolls, continued vape leadership, and the integration of CanAdelaar will be key watchpoints for the remainder of 2026.
I continue to hold my shares in the cannabis basket.
Thanks for reading my work.
